Victoria Zappia Dog Trainer Mentor OhioBorn and raised in the countryside of Geauga County, Ohio, Victoria has lived her life around animals of all kinds. Ever since she was a little girl, she would help stray or injured animals that would wander into her path.

In her early 20’s her passion shifted towards the advocacy of humane treatment of dogs. Victoria volunteered and worked in local humane societies, dog wardens, and helped foster dogs for a local Cleveland based pit bull rescue organization. Victoria was first introduced to Lorenzo in 2006 when a pit bull deemed too dangerous for adoption was facing a dismal future. Victoria brought the dog to Lorenzo, who took the dog in and used his professional training techniques to transform this dog from her aggressive tendencies and turn her into a safe, loving dog. That dog is now Katie, one of her own personal dogs!

As she continues to grow as a professional dog trainer, Victoria is looking forward to continuing to educate and help people to live in harmony with their canine companions.
