Kiley Kelly Professional Dog Trainer

KILEY KELLY'S BACKGROUND

Kiley's passion for animals, preeminently dogs, has been with her since childhood. When she was 4 years old, an attempt to pick up a stray dog while it was sleeping resulted in an ambulance ride to the hospital and 8 stitches. Contrary to popular belief, this traumatic experience only heightened her curiosity for this particular species, and as soon as she turned 15, much to her mother's discretion and paralyzing fear, Kiley began volunteering for different animal shelters.

Kiley genuinely feels the approach and techniques that were instilled upon her through years of experience, education, compassion, and amazing mentors from Lorenzo's Dog Training Team are not only the most humane, but the most effective. Kiley's beliefs are simple: although dog training was designed by man, the psychology of a dog was designed by mother nature. Her goal with every single dog she encounters is to find or create a balance between both the dog and the dog's owner. Kiley strives in doing this by attempting to educate the owner on how they can achieve perfect harmony and to do so without taking away the instinctual needs of their dog.

Throughout her life, Kiley's love and curiosity for man's best friend eventually developed into a career which she is extremely grateful for each and every day. The devotion Kiley has for animals is endless and this is portrayed through her performance.

My experience with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team has been nothing short of spectacular. My trainer's name was Kiley. She was professional, helpful, and extremely caring with my dog Remington, a large German Shepard/Husky mix with fear aggression. Not only did she help Remington to make a complete 180 with his behavior, but she gave me the handling skills and knowledge I needed to continue his training outside of the sessions and into the future. Kiley has a wealth of knowledge and endless love for our furry best friends, and for that I am eternally grateful!

Kiley not only helped me train my dog perfectly, but also kept in touch with any doubts I had even months after our training had finished. She’s a great trainer and even helped me travel with my dog internationally!

I had major challenges with my 2 Doodles - from destroying my house and property to aggression and separation anxiety. I met Kiley and decided to leave them in her capable hands when I went out of town on vacation. I had tried many other trainers and even a behaviorist.

Upon our return, I couldn't believe the difference. Both of our dogs, one of which is still a puppy, are following commands and no longer have the run of our house. We can even eat dinner in peace!

Kiley is spending time with us teaching us how to interact with the dogs in the right way, and it is really taking hold. We are enjoying each other again!

Thank you so much for this miraculous change.

Kiley Kelly rocks!

My Jager is a 3-year-old, almost 100 pounds Weimaraner, full of energy, very playful, and hyperactive. Since he was a puppy, I was trying to train him on basic sit, down, and stay commands, but as he grew up, it became very difficult for him to listen and focus. Walking on the leash was an almost impossible task because he constantly pulled, and with his size and strength, it was very tiring. Jager is a very affectionate dog, and he liked to jump on people to say hi. I became afraid to have guests in my house because of the fear of him knocking somebody to the floor. I was starting to feel that I was losing control of the situation and was stressing about it. Fortunately, one of my closest friends and my vet office recommended Ms. Kiley Kelly of Lorenzo's Dog Training Team to help me train my Jager. Kiley came to the rescue from day one. She visited us and gave me an assessment of my dog's skills and my handling skills. Ms. Kelly listened carefully to my expectations regarding the dog's behavior and put together a proposal with all the training the dog needed.

After a month of intense work with him, Jager is a new dog. I was so impressed on how much he learned on that time, it was amazing. Jager can now walk easily on a leash without pulling, sit, and stay on his spot as asked. He socializes great with other dogs and people. Now, I can take him to the park, on car rides, and have guests at home without a worry. My dog is a much happier dog. He enjoys his long walks and is less anxious because I can take him for runs in the park and let him burn more energy in a healthier way than before.

Kiley had been an angel. Jager loves her, and I'm forever grateful to have found her.

I'll recommend Kiley to everybody and anybody that needs a good trainer. Any veterinarian or pet store in need of a professional trainer should use Kiley and the Lorenzo's Dog Training Team.

Heather and I brought Bella, a Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix, into our lives in June of 2011. Bella was only 2-1/2 months old and a mere 2 pounds back then, but she impacted our lives in such a significant and profound way. To put it simply, we fell in love with her.

At the time we lived in a corner unit condo on the fourth floor of a 12-story building in Hollywood, Florida. We attempted to "potty train" her on our own and had modest success. When Bella was a little older, we took her to PetSmart for some lessons but she/we stopped going after a few short sessions.

As time passed, we learned that Bella had quite a set of lungs on her. She would bark incessantly whenever she heard any noise, which was pretty common in an apartment building. She was a good dog, but a nervous one, and she also displayed some aggression issues over her bone and with the human she happened to be laying next to at any given time. We managed and found ourselves very lucky that the complaints we received were a minimum.

In April of 2015, we moved to a first floor condo unit in a 2-story building in Weston, Florida. Bella's "nervousness" and barking became noticeably worse during this transition. Our neighbors were not as forgiving as when we lived in Hollywood, and we soon found ourselves looking for a professional dog trainer. We sought a recommendation from our new vet's office at Weston Lakes Animal Hospital and were given a brochure for Lorenzo's Dog Training Team.

Heather scheduled the evaluation, and that is when we first met Kiley. Our initial impression was that we were dealing with a true professional and an individual who had a passion for working with animals. Kiley was easy to talk to and listened intently to what we had to say. She offered us different options and explained to us how she would re-train Bella to be less anxious and obedient to Heather and me. It all sounded great, but we were skeptical if Kiley could deliver what she promised. However, we developed a trust with Kiley and decided to give it a shot.

The two weeks away from Bella were probably harder on us than on Bella.... LOL. But when Kiley brought Bella back to us for our first session with her, we were profoundly stunned!!! In this brief encounter, we began to see the miracle that Kiley had brought us. Bella's behavior was EVERYTHING that Kiley promised to deliver and more. In our subsequent session, when Bella was returned to us, the WOW kept coming. Heather and I had to take a double take and wanted to make sure Kiley hadn't switched out our dog on us. But this was OUR Bella, and she was a much happier, less anxious, more obedient version of her prior self.

Kiley has continued to work with us in the months that have followed providing us with ongoing reinforcement if and when we needed it. She has demonstrated to us that she is not only an excellent dog trainer but a wonderful human being who is truly passionate about animals. In this process, Kiley has become more than a dog trainer, and is now a member of our family.

We would highly recommend Kiley Kelly and Lorenzo's Dog Training Team based upon our experience. We can honestly say that she will deliver everything she promises and more! Thanks again, Kiley.

Kiley contacted me after I requested a dog training consultation in South Florida. My puppy, Bailey, was a chewer and wasn't obeying basic commands. She was on-time and professional throughout the entire visit. She assessed my dog handling skills, showed me some basic concepts behind her training, and then made recommendations for Bailey's training.

Over the next few months, Kiley worked with us, and I was very impressed. Bailey began understanding and listening. Kiley was very attentive and hands-on. She provided good instructions and feedback to ensure I was understanding and that my dog was too. On occasion, I also got to work directly with Lorenzo, and he was professional and a pleasure to deal with. Bailey loved them both.

Because of Kiley's training, Bailey can now walk on a leash without pulling, sit and stay on command, remain in her spot, and overall is more attentive and focused. I am very thankful for Kiley's dedication to her work as it shows in my dog's behavior now.

I have recommended Kiley to many of my friends and continue to do so. She would be an asset to any veterinarian or pet store that requires a professional dog trainer.

I was recommended to Kiley from a friend of friend. I had a rescue Pitbull that was aggressive and just wouldn't listen for nothing. I asked Kiley to help me. She told me no problem. In 1 month, I had a brand new dog. Her skills and effort helped to save my dog's life. Kiley is very good at what she does and very compassionate about her work. I would recommend her to anybody with any type of dog no matter what the problem is with them. I'm 100% sure Kiley can help! Thanks for everything, Kiley. Rocco and I will never forget you!

Kiley helped my daughter and me with the introduction of my daughter's Pit, Loki, and my Lab mix, Buddy. Out of control Lab, fear aggressive Pit, multiple altercations. We love our dogs, and Kiley helped so much. We highly recommend her if you need help with your fur babies and want some peace and serenity in your home.

Kiley is the best trainer. She helped my son's not-very-friendly Pitbull to socialize and actually be calm around people and other dogs. She is the best and loves what she does!!!

I reached out to Lorenzo's Dog Training after they came highly recommended by my veterinarian's office. In April of this year, my 6-year-old dog started having chronic episodes of severe separation anxiety. He could not fathom being left alone. He destroyed everything you can imagine and even hurt himself in the process. He would start trembling uncontrollably, his body temperature would rise, and he would whine and pace around non-stop as we prepared to leave. I tried everything from Prozac to Chlomicalm, the thunder jacket, pheromone diffusers, leaving music on when we were away, worked with another trainer, but nothing seemed to work. I was at road's end when I met Kiley and practically ready to give up on him, but I simply couldn't. After our initial meet, we agreed she would take him in for 2 weeks and work on his confidence, and, boy, did she do just that. In short, she worked on desensitization, positive reinforcement, and corrections which led to him trust in her. Marley came back less anxious, more obedient, and in one piece! But the work was far from over. The most beneficial thing Kiley did for US was to train ME. She taught me how to praise when good, correct when needed, and, most importantly, to trust in him. I work on him every single day and am now taking it a step further by adding distractions to his training. He's successfully been off meds since September and the separation anxiety attacks are practically nonexistent. If I ever see a remote sign of nervousness, I immediately place him on a down-stay and he soothes down right away. The days of worrying about "what did he destroy now?" are over. I come home to a dog and home in one piece. Kiley has been a true blessing to us, and Marley is a testimonial to her hard work and passion! I highly recommend her to anyone experiencing behavioral problems with their dog(s)! To this day, Kiley is here for us, checking in and ensuring we stay on this road to rehabilitation. She loves Marley, and I love her for that. She simply has that thing you cannot teach - PASSION!

We are so thankful for Kiley! Our puppy is such a good boy thanks to her. She has helped us work through his anxiety, potty training, and overall obedience issues. Kiley has been sweet and kind but also honest with us and firm with our dog in order to help us make great progress!
