Anya was born and raised in Yoshkar-Ola, Russia (560 miles east of Moscow). She pursued her dreams by moving with her family to the United States in 2000. Throughout her life, dogs were her passion, and at nine years old she joined the local canine clubs to learn how to train and take care of the dogs.

Anya began her dog training experience at twelve years old. She has been competing and continues to participate in the different canine sports. Anya successfully finished her Weimaraner to become an AKC Champion in Conformation. She has also titled her dogs in Obedience, Agility, and Rally.

Anya worked as a Veterinary Technician for over four years and then decided to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams by becoming a professional dog trainer. She researched the local dog trainers and made her choice on joining Lorenzo’s Dog Training Team.

Anya has been training dogs professionally together with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team since 2012. She believes that a training experience should be positive but structured for both, a dog and its owner. Today, she works in northeast Ohio with her professional canine assistant, a Weimaraner named "Simba".
